Getting Personal

Now that I've transferred all the What's Worth Watching stuff over to the official What's Worth Watching web site, this blog will be more about what's going on in the Jon Hein universe that I can't fit in less than 140 characters.

Here's a quick update:

OFFICIAL CRITICISM

I'm now an official card carrying member of the Broadcast Television Journalists Association (BTJA). This is the crew who determines the Critics Choice awards, so now I can vote and complain about who wins or doesn't win.

My Broadcast Film Critics Association (BFCA) membership is pending approval. Thanks to Chris Gore for turning me on to these organizations.


VALUE MEAL

I've got a big announcement coming up during the next couple of weeks that should make all fast food fans out there happy. I'm super excited about this one.

GUESTS WORTH WATCHING

So far this year, we've spoken to Busy Philipps, Elizabeth Banks, Carla Gugino, Glenn Close, Lucy Lawless, Emmy Rossum, Katrina Bowden, Ben Schwartz, Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves and Bill Lawrence on What's Worth Watching.  That's quite a hot chick streak, plus Ben & Bill are nothing to sneeze at.

Future guests include the authors of the I Want My MTV book, Poppy Montgomery from Unforgettable, Timothy Olyphant from Justified and hopefully some folks from Mad Men and Game of Thrones.
